Maame received her Bachelor of Laws Degree (L.L.B Hons. Degree) from the University of Ghana, Legon in 1999 and was called to the Ghana Bar in 2001. Since then, she has worked in corporate legal practice and has gained significant corporate transactional experience. She has a solid reputation for resolving complex financial, corporate and commercial issues that affect projects and companies. She regularly advises on the financial, corporate and commercial issues that affect projects and companies. Maame’s experience includes negotiating, reviewing and drafting transaction agreements, advising international and local investors on direct and foreign portfolio investment whilst identifying and leading on appropriate strategies for transactions in the international and local capital markets. She regularly advises institutions and international and local corporate establishments on compliance and regulatory issues, corporate financing and restructuring, negotiating transactions, commercial law matters, taxation and human resource management issues. She provides general corporate advise and legal counsel on negotiating, structuring and closing joint ventures transactions; corporate re-organisations, obtaining regulatory approvals, venture capital transactions, commercial contracts and transfer of technology agreements. Her expertise is also in the area of real estate, private equity deals; restructurings; and capital raising transactions.
