Deal Source Africa (DSA) is a comprehensive program to connect;

1. Businesses with investors
2. Businesses with transaction advisors
3. Investors with limited partners. The program includes deal rooms, a digital platform (https://dealsourceafrica.co/) and impact fund showcases. DSA has closed four deals so far and has several businesses engaging with investors and about to close deals.

As Secretariat Lead for the Ghana Research and Industry Collaborative (GRIC), we are working to bridging the gap between research and innovation and drive innovation and collaboration. We are currently running four projects:
a. development of research summaries into industry-friendly format
b. hosting of research-industry matchmaking sessions
c. conduct of industry brief sessions for research uptake and commercialisation
d. organising learning workshops for targeted stakeholders

Igniting Dreams (ID) is an entrepreneurship development program that provides
business development training, mentorship, and seed funding for young
entrepreneurs in Northern Ghana. These resources help them acquire the required
leadership skills and the funding needed to launch, sustain, and scale their
businesses.

Our goal within the next decade is to enable 10,000 young entrepreneurs to start
their own businesses and create 1 million decent jobs across Ghana.

To achieve
this ambitious goal, we need to extend this program across Northern Ghana and
eventually scale it to all 16 regions of the Country. This expansion would require
partnerships with corporate organizations, academia, governments, and the
formal private sector. Igniting Dreams will benefit from volunteer industry
coaches and mentors who have the required qualifications and experience to
provide value to our young entrepreneurs. Finally, we will require $10 million in
funding from organizations and individuals to enable us to provide our young
entrepreneurs with all the resources they need to succeed.

We are working on model integrated farms that highly optimize the use of land and resources. Our models ensure that the average returns on an acre of land is over 10 times what the regular monocrop farmer earns.

IIGh wants to profitably unlock 1 billion in funding for Small and Medium Businesses who have high growth potential. We also want to build capacity of transaction advisors so that SMEs can access affordable, high quality transaction advice. We want to support Enterprise Support Organizations who are building a pipeline of businesses.
