Kwabena Boamah is the Managing Director of Stanbic Investment Management Services LTD (SIMS). He has played various strategic roles in the asset management industry spanning over 20 years in operations, client coverage, portfolio construction and management and investment research.As an industry expert, Kwabena was on the committee set up by the National Pensions Regulatory Authority (NPRA) to review the investment guidelines for private pension schemes in Ghana in 2017 and 2019. He plays an active role on the sub-committees of the Ghana Securities Industry Association (GSIA), Fund Management and Ethics & Professional Standards Committees. He serves on the Boards of SIMS, Oasis Africa VC Fund Limited, a USD50.5 million private equity fund investing in West Africa and MS Consult LTD, a 12-year-old building transportation equipment services company in Ghana.Kwabena is a public speaker on financial wellness and loves to teach. He drives industry conversations on responsible investing and alternative investments.
