Kwabena Boamah is a results-driven and strategic leader with over 25 years of experience in the asset management business. Kwabena is the Managing Director of Stanbic Investment Management Services LTD (SIMS), a leading pension and asset management firm in Ghana with more than USD1.5b under management. He plays an active role in the Ghana Securities Industry Association (GSIA) and currently chairs the Fund Managers & Investment Advisors Committee. He also serves on the boards of Oasis Africa VC Fund Limited, Bethel Dental Limited, and MS Consult LTD. Kwabena currently drives conversations on unlocking pension assets in Africa to spur economic growth through investments in the real sector while aligning with sustainable development goals.

Kwabena is an alumnus of the Executive Development Program, The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania. He holds a doctorate in Finance from SMC University, Switzerland, an MBA from the Paris Graduate School of Management, a Diploma in Financial Management from ACCA, and a Certificate in Investment Performance Measurement from the CFA Institute.
